Latest Bosch motors
The Lovens Explorer is powered by the latest generation of Bosch motors, developed for the highest class of cargo bikes. These mid-drive motors are stronger, quieter and lighter than ever. The Explorer S75 features the Bosch Performance Line motor with 75 Nm torque — smooth, efficient and perfect for daily rides. The Explorer S100 goes further with the Bosch Cargo Line motor delivering 100 Nm torque, offering maximum support for heavy loads or hilly terrain.
Extra security and anti-theft
The Explorer offers smart protection with integrated security solutions. With eBike Lock, your smartphone becomes your digital key — once you power off the bike, the motor automatically locks. Battery Lock goes a step further by securing the battery itself. And with the ABUS- developed anti-theft lock designed exclusively for Lovens, your bike gets extra protection, fully integrated into the sleek frame. Multiple GPS modules are also available, so you can always track your bike in case of loss or theft.

Cable steering
The Lovens Explorer’s cable steering allows for a surprisingly tight turning circle — something rod steering can’t match. In the Explorer 2, this system has been refined even further: the front wheel now turns 10 degrees more. Practical, agile and comfortable. This way you can maneuver smoothly between narrow streets or alleys. Even when your container is fully loaded. Not only very convenient, but it also makes your ride even more comfortable.
Bosch Smart System
The Lovens Explorer 2 features the Bosch Smart System, a suite of intelligent functions to make every ride smoother and more secure. The fixed Purion 200 side display is easy to use and less prone to theft — practical, safe
and connected.
Powerful disc brakes with ABS
Good brakes are important because the electric motor can drive the cargo bike with a lot of power. The Explorer 2 comes with hydraulic disc brakes and optional ABS, ensuring safe,
controlled stops — even with a heavy load. The anti-lock braking system ensures a shorter braking distance, just like in a car. Together they help you brake powerfully and safely.
LED daytime running lights with indicators
Complete the Explorer 2’s design with LED daytime running lights and optional turn indicators. You’ll always be clearly visible — by day or night — combining safety with a modern, stylish look.
Suspension fork
The front suspension fork delivers smooth, stable handling by optimizing contact between tire and road. The suspension and damping compensate for the irregularities of the road. This way you can comfortably ride over bumps or holes in the road during your cycling route.
Belt drive
Instead of a traditional chain, the Explorer 2 features a carbon belt drive — strong, silent
and low-maintenance. This belt drive made of carbon does not have to be regularly lubricated and replaced, like with a chain. This makes it last much longer.
