Who is responsible for processing your personal data?
Lovens is a brand of Optima Mobility Holding B.V. and its subsidiary Optima Cycles B.V., hereinafter referred to as ‘Optima Cycles’. Optima Cycles is located at Beveland 2 in Beverwijk and is responsible for complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when processing your data. Therefore, this statement also applies to this brand and other brands within our holding.
How does Optima Cycles collect personal data?
Optima Cycles collects personal data based on your consent. When purchasing a bike or another product, personal data is recorded by Optima Cycles through the dealer or by the consumer directly. When purchasing a connected e-bike and using certain apps, personal data is also collected. Optima Cycles B.V. is not responsible or liable for how the dealer handles the personal data they collect. When visiting one of our (brand) websites, we record information such as the IP address of the device used and which pages and products were viewed. Contact with Optima Cycles may also result in the recording of personal data, such as when requesting a brochure or filing a warranty claim, as well as when participating in a promotion, event, or online social forum.

If you have purchased an electric bike or cargo bike from us, you are entitled to two years of warranty. Optima Cycles B.V. adheres to privacy regulations in accordance with the applicable legislation regarding obtaining consent and allowing the withdrawal of that consent.
Application
By using the app, data related to your bike, its usage, and the device on which you have installed the app will be processed. The Data Protection Act applies to data that can be directly or indirectly traced back to you. The data is not traded or used for commercial purposes by third parties that are not affiliated with Optima Cycles. Data is stored, in addition to being on your device, in the database of Conneqtech B.V. in the Netherlands and complies with legal security requirements.
